Located in the Tashkent Region, CERR plays a critical role in shaping the country's future.Role DescriptionThis is an on-site senior researcher role at the Center for Economic Research and Reforms in the Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The researcher will be responsible for assisting with policy analysis, conducting research, collaborating with team members, and contributing to various economic analyses. The researcher will also be involved in impact assessment, regional development studies, and providing support to ongoing reforms.QualificationsStrong analytical and research skillsKnowledge of economic principles and policy analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skills in Russian, English and UzbekAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in data analysis and statistical software (Excel, Stata etc.)Attention to detail and accuracy in workAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesInterest in economic development and policy reformsWorking knowledge of Uzbekistan's economic landscapeBachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or related field (masters degree or higher will be preffered)
