Senior Resident- Critical Care

Role Description The Senior Resident – Critical Care is a full-time role based at the Max Super Speciality Hospital, Shalimar Bagh New Delhi. Involves managing critically ill patients in the ICU, including initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, and timely interventions in collaboration with consultants and multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include performing and supervising procedures commonly required in critical care, ordering and interpreting investigations, and adjusting treatment plans based on clinical status and evidence-based guidelines. The Senior Resident will participate in clinical rounds, documentation, handovers, and quality and safety initiatives, as well as support training and mentoring of junior residents and nurses. The role also requires participation in emergency response within the hospital and adherence to hospital protocols, ethical standards, and infection control practices.QualificationsRecognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Pulmonary Medicine, or equivalent; formal critical care training or fellowship is preferred.
