Senior Manager Business Resilience & ContinuitySydney or Melbourne | Hybrid | PermanentBuild resilience across a growing, technology-led organisation.We’re working with a well-established technology business to appoint a Senior Manager, Business Resilience & Continuity.This is a newly significant leadership opportunity for a resilience specialist who can bring together business continuity, crisis preparedness, technology resilience and third-party risk into a cohesive enterprise-wide capability.You’ll work across the organisation to understand where critical services and dependencies sit, identify potential points of failure and ensure the business is prepared to respond when disruption occurs.This is a role for someone who enjoys operating strategically while still being close enough to the detail to make things happen.What you’ll be doingYou’ll take ownership of the organisation’s resilience and continuity agenda, working with senior stakeholders across Risk, Technology, Security and the wider business.Your responsibilities will include:Develop and continuously improve the organisation’s business resilience and continuity strategyEstablish consistent approaches to Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and crisis preparednessWork with business leaders to identify and understand critical services and operational dependenciesAssess the potential impact of major business disruptions and establish appropriate resilience measuresLead resilience testing, scenario exercises and crisis simulationsIdentify weaknesses across technology, people, processes, data and external suppliersWork closely with procurement and risk teams to strengthen third-party resilienceDevelop meaningful reporting and metrics for senior leadership and governance forumsProvide expert guidance during audits, assurance reviews and regulatory engagementsPartner with Technology and Cyber Security teams to ensure business and technology resilience are alignedDrive greater resilience awareness and accountability across the organisationWhat we’re looking forWe’re looking for someone who has already operated at a senior level within business resilience, operational resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery or crisis management.You’ll ideally have:Significant experience developing or leading enterprise resilience programsBackground within financial services, fintech, technology, SaaS, insurance or another highly regulated environmentStrong understanding of Australian regulatory expectations, particularly APRA CPS 230Experience working with critical services, business impact assessments and resilience planningStrong knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery principlesExperience running scenario-based testing and crisis exercisesUnderstanding of supplier, outsourcing and third-party resilienceConfidence engaging with senior executives and influencing stakeholders across a complex organisationExperience supporting internal audit, external audit or regulatory reviewsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsRelevant certifications such as CBCP, MBCI, CRISC, CISM or similar would be advantageous.The opportunityThis is an opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile resilience agenda within a technology-led organisation and have a genuine impact on how the business prepares for, responds to and recovers from major disruption.You’ll have significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to shape the organisation's approach rather than simply maintain an existing framework.If you’re an experienced resilience professional looking for your next senior leadership opportunity, apply now or reach out for a confidential conversation.Email: Derek.mccormack@latitudeit.com.au
