It is home to a diverse community of leading scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and researchers from across the globe, transforming problems and roadblocks into pioneering research and technology prototypes that help move society ahead.Job Role: The Senior RF Researcher leads advanced research, development, and prototyping of RF and microwave technologies across industrial and scientific applications. The role combines technical leadership, hands-on engineering, and research innovation to deliver RF subsystems and technology demonstrators.Job Responsibilities: Lead RF and microwave research programs from concept to prototype validation. Design, simulate, build, and test microwave circuits, particularly high-power amplifiers, filters and frequency conversion devices.Circuit design and simulation of RF/microwave circuits using software tools such as AWR microwave office, Keysight ADS or similar. Mentor junior researchers and support development of technical capabilities within the team. Define technical roadmaps and contribute to research strategy and proposal development. Oversee laboratory integration, verification, and troubleshooting activities. Collaborate with stakeholders to transition technology into operational prototypes. Qualifications and Experience:PhD or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, Applied Physics, or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of applied experience in RF, microwave, or electromagnetic systems research and development.Demonstrated experience leading technical teams, work packages, or research projects. Strong background in RF design across L, S, C, X, Ku, Ka or higher frequency bands. Experience with ADS, AWR, HFSS, CST or equivalent tools. Hands-on experience with RF laboratory instrumentation. Experience with PCB design, RF integration, testing, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of MMIC technologies is desirable. Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW is an advantage. Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
