Team members work in an international setting that combines rigorous governance with entrepreneurial decision-making.Role DescriptionThe (Senior) Risk Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Strassen. The role involves identifying, assessing, and monitoring financial, market, and operational risks across funds and client portfolios, and preparing regular risk reports and dashboards for management and regulatory purposes. The analyst will design and maintain risk models and metrics, perform stress testing and scenario analysis, and review investment proposals for risk implications. Daily tasks include collaborating with portfolio managers and compliance teams, refining risk policies and limits, and ensuring adherence to UCITS and AIFM requirements. The (Senior) Risk Analyst is expected to contribute to ongoing process improvements and support risk-related audits and regulatory reviews.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong analytical skills and a rigorous quantitative mindset.Candidates should possess expertise in risk analysis, including identification, measurement, and monitoring of portfolio risks.Candidates should possess solid finance knowledge, particularly in investment products, portfolio construction, and financial markets.Candidates should possess a good command of statistics and experience with data analysis tools or software.Candidates should possess clear and effective communication skills for presenting complex risk findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Relevant university degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field; a professional qualification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is an asset.Experience in risk management within asset management, banking, or a similar regulated environment; familiarity with UCITS and AIFM regulations is advantageous.Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools; experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R, VBA) is beneficial.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a time-sensitive environment.Strong integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to high governance and compliance standards.
