قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجSenior Engineer – Technical IntegrationLocation: CoimbatoreEmployment Type: Full-TimeDepartment: Robotics / EngineeringReports To: Engineering ManagementWe are looking for a Senior Robotics Engineer – Technical Integration to help lead the engineering development of our robotics platform.The role will work closely with the Mechanical, Electrical, Embedded/Controls and Software teams to integrate the robot, solve engineering problems, support testing, and improve the product from its current MVP stage toward a more reliable and production-ready system.This is a hands-on technical leadership role, suited to an experienced robotics or mechatronics engineer who enjoys working across disciplines and solving real-world engineering problems.Key ResponsibilitiesRobotics System IntegrationCoordinate integration of mechanical, electrical, embedded and software systems.Review interfaces between major subsystems.Identify and resolve integration problems.Support robot assembly, commissioning and troubleshooting.Review system performance and identify areas for improvement.Engineering Problem SolvingInvestigate technical problems encountered during development and testing.Work with the relevant engineers to identify root causes.Coordinate corrective actions and verify solutions.Help prevent recurring technical problems.Make practical engineering recommendations based on test results and data.MVP DevelopmentSupport stabilization and improvement of the current robotics MVP.Coordinate technical activities required for prototype testing.Track important engineering issues and their resolution.Support field testing and incorporate test/field feedback into development.Product ImprovementIdentify practical improvements to robot performance, reliability and usability.Evaluate alternative components, mechanisms and technical approaches.Support redesign and optimization of existing systems.Work with engineering teams on the next product iteration.Testing & ValidationHelp define practical engineering tests and acceptance criteria.Coordinate subsystem and system-level testing.Review test results and identify required improvements.Support endurance, performance and environmental testing where applicable.Technical CoordinationConduct technical discussions with Mechanical, Electrical, Embedded and Software engineers.Maintain clear ownership of major technical issues.Support engineering planning and prioritization.Communicate significant technical issues, risks and recommendations to management.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.5–8+ years of relevant professional experience in robotics, mechatronics, automation or complex electromechanical products.Experience developing and integrating physical robotic or mechatronic systems.Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and embedded systems.Experience with motors, actuators, sensors and control systems.Experience troubleshooting real-world hardware and prototype problems.Experience with system integration and testing.Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.Preferred ExperienceExperience in one or more of the following is an advantage:Mobile roboticsInspection roboticsIndustrial roboticsCompact robotic systemsRemote-operated robotsField roboticsMotor and motion-control systemsSensor integrationWaterproof or harsh-environment equipmentPrototype-to-product developmentReliability improvementRoot-cause analysisTechnical SkillsThe candidate should be comfortable working with several of the following:Mechanical:CAD, mechanisms, motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, wheels, tolerances and mechanical integration.Electrical:Motor drivers, power systems, batteries, sensors, wiring, connectors and basic electronics troubleshooting.Embedded/Controls:Microcontrollers, motor control, sensors, encoders, communication interfaces and basic control systems.Testing:Oscilloscope, multimeter, current/voltage measurement, data logging and practical prototype test equipment.Software/Development:Basic working knowledge of C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, ROS/ROS2 or equivalent tools is beneficial.Experience with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, Altium, KiCad, Git or equivalent tools is an advantage.You do not need to be an expert in every tool or discipline.
