Senior Robotics Engineer – Experience: 4–5 Years
Ltd. (IRDPL)Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and integrate Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) and robotic automation systems.Expertise in robotic arm manipulation, heavy-payload handling, and complex task execution.Strong hands-on experience with ROS 2, MoveIt 2, motion planning, and trajectory optimization.Knowledge of forward/inverse kinematics, collision avoidance, and Cartesian path planning.Integrate robotic arms, grippers, actuators, sensors, and PLC-based automation systems.Develop task planning using Behaviour Trees, FSMs, and multi-stage execution pipelines.Work on robot simulation, hardware integration, debugging, and industrial commissioning.Take ownership of technical deliverables and ensure timely project completion.Required SkillsStrong proficiency in C++, Python, ROS 2, and MoveIt 2.Experience with SPM design, industrial automation, and robotic manipulation.Knowledge of mechanical systems, actuators, fixtures, and end-effector design.Experience with Gazebo/RViz, URDF/Xacro, and robotic controllers.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently execute complex engineering tasks.Preferred: Experience with heavy-duty robotic arms, advanced manipulation, and custom industrial automation systems.
