Senior Robotics Perception Engineer - San Francisco, CA | Full Time | On SiteWe’re partnering with an early stage robotics company building autonomous systems for real world deployment.This is a high ownership perception role working directly with the founding team to build and deploy the perception, sensor fusion, localization, and data systems powering the product.What You’ll DoBuild and improve perception models for object detection and scene understandingDevelop sensor fusion pipelines across 2D/3D LiDAR and other sensorsBuild data collection and evaluation pipelines for rapid model iterationOptimize perception software within a complex robotics stackIdentify performance bottlenecks and drive technical improvementsDeploy and debug perception systems in real world environmentsWork closely with robotics, software, and hardware engineersWhat We’re Looking For4+ years building robotics or vehicle perception systemsStrong experience with 2D/3D LiDAR and sensor fusionExperience developing and deploying perception modelsStrong C++ and/or Python skillsExperience working within complex robotic software architecturesComfortable working hands on with hardware and field deployed systemsStrong ownership and ability to independently drive technical projectsIdeal backgrounds: Autonomous vehicles, robotics, drones, mobile robotics, ADAS, or other real world perception systems.MS/PhD and 6+ years of perception experience are a plus.Competitive compensation + meaningful equity + full benefits.
