This role leads the implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS), conducts risk assessments and incident investigations, monitors compliance with GACA and international aviation regulations, and drives a proactive safety culture across all airport operations. The position works closely with internal stakeholders, service providers, and regulatory authorities to ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence are maintained.Key Responsibilities:Lead safety risk assessments and implement effective mitigation measures.Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS).Conduct safety audits, inspections, surveys, and compliance monitoring activities.Ensure compliance with GACA regulations and international standards (ICAO, IATA, EASA, ACI).Analyse safety data, monitor Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs), and prepare reports.Coordinate with airport departments, contractors, ground handlers, and regulatory authorities.Support emergency exercises, safety awareness campaigns, and compliance initiatives.Requirements:Saudi National. Bachelor's degree in Aviation Safety, Engineering, Airport Management, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation safety, airport operations, compliance, or a similar role.Strong knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and aviation regulations.Experience in risk assessment, safety audits, investigations, and regulatory compliance.Professional safety certifications and SMS-related training are an advantage.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.We appreciate the interest of all applicants and wish you all the best; only candidates shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process will be contacted.
