About the jobInteryachts is a Monaco-based yacht brokerage firm operating at the heart of one of the world's leading luxury yachting destinations, with experience across yacht sales, charter, berths, new build, yacht management and crew management consultancy.We are a small, ambitious company currently developing and restructuring our sales activity. We are looking to bring on board an experienced Senior Sales Broker with the drive, credibility and strategic vision to help shape the next stage of our growth.This is not a standard brokerage role within a large, established structure. It is an opportunity for a proven Sales Broker to join a lean and entrepreneurial company, contribute directly to its development, and help build the sales activity around their own vision, methods, network and market understanding.The successful candidate will have solid experience in yacht sales brokerage, an established portfolio of clients and industry contacts, and the ability to generate new business independently. They should be motivated by the challenge of joining a smaller platform where personal impact is immediate, ideas are heard, and success can translate into a level of recognition, responsibility and remuneration that can often be more difficult to achieve within a larger brokerage house.Reporting directly to the management of Interyachts Monaco, the Senior Sales Broker will independently manage the sale and purchase of luxury yachts whilst proactively identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities.The successful candidate will be a confident and commercially driven professional with strong judgement, excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex transactions from initial enquiry through to successful completion. They will be a self-starter, comfortable working with a high level of autonomy and able to manage multiple priorities whilst consistently maintaining the highest standards of client service.Flexibility will be required, as there may be occasions when the role involves additional hours or weekends, travel, yacht shows, industry events and client meetings.On offer is the future development of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Transaction Management:Independently manage the sale and purchase of luxury yachts from initial enquiry and negotiation through to successful closing, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.Provide expert advice to clients on market trends, yacht valuations, acquisition and sales opportunities.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional and highly personalised service to both buyers and sellers.Lead yacht viewings and sea trials, ensuring yachts are presented professionally and clients are supported throughout the process.Negotiate commercial terms effectively on behalf of clients and oversee the preparation and coordination of sales documentation and contracts.Follow and adhere to relevant industry regulations, company procedures and ethical standards.Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:Proactively identify, qualify and secure new high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients.Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with an established client base, understanding their evolving requirements and providing tailored solutions.Leverage an established professional and industry network, referrals and company-provided leads to generate new business and expand the client portfolio.Proactively develop new yacht listings and identify sale and purchase opportunities.Maintain regular contact with prospective and existing clients, ensuring all opportunities are followed up promptly and professionally.Identify opportunities to introduce clients to other relevant company services where appropriate.Market Expertise & Analysis:Maintain an in-depth understanding of market developments, economic trends and regulatory changes affecting the yachting industry in Monaco, the South of France and the wider Mediterranean market.Conduct market analysis to identify emerging sales opportunities, market movements and potential challenges.Provide informed market insights, yacht valuations and commercial advice to clients and internal teams.Maintain strong awareness of comparable yachts, current listings, recent transactions and wider market activity.Participate actively in yacht shows, industry events and networking opportunities to strengthen relationships, generate new business and promote yacht listings.Performance & Reporting:Consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs.Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, opportunities and sales activities within the CRM system.Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and updates to management.Assist with the creation of marketing materials and online listings to effectively showcase yachts for sale.Team Collaboration & Mentorship:Collaborate effectively with internal teams including marketing, legal and administration to ensure all sales documentation is accurate and complete and to provide a seamless client experience.Support and mentor less experienced brokers where appropriate, sharing industry knowledge, market insight and best practice.Contribute positively to the wider sales team and support the development of a collaborative and high-performing sales environment.Work closely with the wider company to identify opportunities to develop new business and introduce clients to other relevant services.Required skills and qualifications5+ years' direct yacht brokerage experience in a similar role within the yachting industry.Proven track record of successfully managing and closing high-value yacht sale and purchase transactions and consistently achieving sales targets.A strong existing network of yacht owners, buyers, industry professionals and other relevant contacts.Strong knowledge of the Monaco, South of France and wider Mediterranean yachting market would be highly advantageous.Strong commercial awareness with an in-depth understanding of the luxury yacht sales market.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with HNW and UHNW clients and senior industry professionals.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.French and/or other European languages would be advantageous but are not essential.Strong numeracy and commercial negotiation skills.Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.A positive, professional and proactive attitude with the ability to consistently maintain a high level of client service.Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Flexibility to work additional hours, weekends and attend yacht shows or industry events where required.Valid driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
