In this key leadership role, you will shape commercial strategy, expand business with OEM and Tier 1 customers, and lead a team of four sales professionals located in Italy, Germany, and France.Your responsibilities will be to:Lead, coach and coordinate a team of four sales professionals located across EuropeEnsure sustainable and profitable growth for the allocated business unit by identifying needs related to new customers, new products, localization and market developmentTogether with the sales team, manage the existing business profitably, including annual price negotiations, long-term agreements, value analysis/value engineering initiatives, and raw-material and foreign-exchange adjustmentsDrive the acquisition of profitable new business with existing and new customers, ensuring that booking targets are achievedDefine the medium- and long-term commercial strategy together with the Sales Managers, based on customer needs, market pricing, competitors and emerging product trendsLead the budget and sales-planning process, monitor monthly performance against forecast and budget, and ensure that corrective actions are implementedMaintain a reliable and up-to-date business plan and opportunity pipeline in SFDC, including monthly updatesEnsure commercial process compliance, including contract reviews, debit and credit notes, price adjustments and quotation processesOur requirements: Relevant technical education or professional background, with the ability to understand engineered products, customer applications and technical-commercial trade-offsSignificant sales and business-development experience in the automotive industry, ideally in a senior role with OEM and/or Tier 1 customersEstablished relationships and a strong professional network among European automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliersProven experience in profitable growth, pricing and contract negotiations, new-business acquisition, forecasting, budgeting and pipeline managementPeople-leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a small, geographically dispersed teamFluent English, both written and spoken.
