Location: Toronto, ON Job Type: Full-Time Work Model: HybridJob SummaryCogency Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP & CRM Consultant to support the design, development, integration, and implementation of a custom Mortgage Origination platform covering Account Origination, Adjudication, and Fulfillment.The ideal candidate will combine strong SAP CRM functional and technical expertise, hands-on ABAP development, SAP CRM Web UI, BRF+, pricing, and enterprise integration capabilities. The consultant will work on impact assessments, solution prototyping, custom business logic, and integration pipelines connecting SAP with modern API frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesSAP CRM & Functional ExpertiseProvide functional and technical expertise across SAP CRM 7.0 and SAP CRM Web UI.Support design and implementation of custom Mortgage Origination capabilities.Work with key SAP CRM objects and frameworks, including:Business Partners (BP)Bank ServicesOpportunitiesCasesQuotationsDue DiligenceOne Order FrameworkConfigure and customize Pricing, BRF+ (Business Rule Framework), and UI Component Sets.Design and implement workflows supporting Mortgage Origination, Adjudication, and Fulfillment.SAP ABAP DevelopmentDevelop custom solutions using Advanced ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP).Develop custom business logic, pricing enhancements, post-processing logic, and background processing frameworks.Perform technical impact assessments and solution prototyping for proposed changes.Develop scalable and maintainable SAP customizations aligned with enterprise standards.Integration & API DevelopmentDesign and develop integration solutions connecting SAP CRM with enterprise and modern API platforms.Develop integrations using SAP Process Integration (PI).Build and consume REST and OData services.Support API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI frameworks.Design robust integration pipelines for data exchange between SAP and external applications.Support authentication, data transformation, error handling, and integration monitoring.Mortgage Origination TransformationSupport the transition of legacy Mortgage Origination processes into the new custom SAP platform.Build integration points required to migrate or replace legacy Mortgage Origination flows.Collaborate with business and technical teams across Account Origination, Adjudication, and Fulfillment.Assess existing functionality and determine appropriate SAP CRM/ABAP solutions.Impact Assessment & PrototypingConduct initial impact assessments for proposed changes and integration requirements.Develop solution prototypes to validate technical and functional approaches.Provide initial assessments and prototypes with an expected turnaround of approximately four days per site, where applicable.Document technical findings, dependencies, risks, and recommended solutions.Required QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with SAP CRM 7.0.Experience with SAP CRM Web UI.Strong ABAP and OO ABAP development skills.Experience with BRF+ and SAP business rules.Experience with SAP CRM objects including Business Partner, Bank Services, Opportunity, Case, Quotation, and One Order Framework.Experience with SAP Pricing configuration/customization.Experience developing REST and OData services.Hands-on experience with SAP PI integration.Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation.Experience with post-processing and background processing frameworks.Strong understanding of enterprise application integration and API-based architectures.Ability to perform technical impact assessments and solution prototyping.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.Domain ExperienceMortgage Origination experience is strongly preferred.Experience with Account Origination, Mortgage Adjudication, and Fulfillment processes.Experience modernizing or replacing legacy mortgage processing platforms is an advantage.Key CompetenciesSAP CRM 7.0SAP CRM Web UISAP ABAP / OO ABAPBRF+SAP PricingOne Order FrameworkBusiness Partner & Bank ServicesSAP PIREST / ODataSwagger / OpenAPIAPI & Enterprise IntegrationSolution PrototypingImpact AssessmentMortgage OriginationTechnical & Functional Consulting
