Employment Type: Full-TimeExperience Level: 7–10+ YearsJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer with deep technical expertise in SAP Direct Store Delivery (DSD) architectures.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing custom SAP solutions that drive our mobile logistics, route accounting, and last-mile delivery processes. This is a remote-first role requiring strong self-motivation, with occasional travel to our collaborative workspace in Bellandur, Bangalore for team synchronization, strategic planning, and design workshops.Key Responsibilities

• Technical Development: Architect, design, develop, and test complex RICEFW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).
• SAP DSD Specialisation: Customise and enhance SAP DSD backend systems, focusing on route settlement, tour data exchange (upload/download processing), driver cockpit configurations, hand-held device integrations (DSD Connector), and vehicle space optimization.
• Integrations & Interfaces: Develop robust integration solutions utilizing ALE/IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and Web Services to sync data between core SAP systems and third-party Mobile DSD apps or telematics hardware.
• Modern SAP Technologies: Leverage S/4HANA capabilities, including designing high-efficiency OData services for Fiori application layers, CDS Views, and AMDP.
• Performance Tuning: Perform code optimization and runtime analysis using SQL Trace (ST05) and ABAP Runtime Analysis (SAT) to eliminate bottlenecks in heavy nightly DSD processing queues.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Author detailed technical specifications, conduct peer code reviews, and maintain clean documentation to facilitate seamless remote engineering.Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related domain.
• SAP Experience: Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with at least 3+ years dedicated specifically to SAP DSD (Direct Store Delivery) functionality.
• Domain Alignment: Strong technical understanding of foundational logistics modules: SD (Sales and Distribution), LE (Logistics Execution - Shipping/Transportation), and MM (Materials Management).
• Core Extensions: Proficiency in SAP Enhancement techniques (User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and the Enhancement Framework).
• Forms & Outputs: Experience with SmartForms and Adobe Forms for creating critical delivery paperwork (invoices, loading sheets, delivery notes).Work Location & Flexibility Requirements
• Work Setup: Primarily Remote from anywhere in India.
• Office Attendance: Willingness to travel to the Bellandur, Bangalore office for occasional office meetings, project kick-offs, or leadership alignment sessions as required by the management.
• Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills are mandatory to ensure alignment across a distributed remote team.Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
• Formal SAP ABAP Certification.
• Experience working on mobile DSD application wrappers (Android/iOS integration with SAP backend).
• Exposure to SAP UI5 / Fiori application development.
