ROLE: SAP ABAPLOCATION: REMOTE BUT TRAVEL TO STUDIO CITY, CA MIGHT BE REQUIREDSoftware Engineer (SAP) ABAPLevel: 10 years of SAP ABAP Development ExperienceJob DescriptionAs a Software Engineer (SAP) in the Record-to-Report (RTR area) we expect this developer to participate in project ABAP Build and development activities to support the successful business adoption of the new solution.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Review Functional Specifications from the Product Teams and ensure they are complete and ready for technical design and developmentProvide work effort estimates work with the workstream leads to update ADO (IDP) tool for reporting out RICEFW status and datesSuggest alternate technical designs in line with Clean Core best practicesComplete all relevant technical specification documentation and support Functional teams during testing and bug-fixingPerform SAP ABAP Development activities supporting the business request to improve or add functionality to the existing SAP landscape specifically HANA/ABAP with emphasis on the financial modules.Perform code reviews based on NBCU S/4 HANA coding standardsWork with the functional teams to support testing cycles like Functional Unit Test, Integration Testing, and othersQualificationsTechnical SkillsExperience as an ABAP Developer or Sr Development with minimum of 5 years of hands-on core SAP ABAP development and/or SAP Fiori UI5 experience.Need to have a strong understanding of Finance based SAP design and process flows around GL Account based Journal entry postings, Invoice creation and posting, Accounts Payable and Receivable process, Revenue Recognition and the use of substitution user-exit'sKnowledge of underlying SAP FI S$ HANA Table structures and fieldsAwareness of common API's, BAPI's and Function Modules in the FI area related to financial postings, currency calculation, tax determination, payment runs, bank statements etcExperience with S4/HANA migration initiatives and exposure to BTP integration/side-by-side RAP programming model.Ability to complete High Level Technical Design and suggest best practices in line with Clean Core PrinciplesConfirmed ability using BADI's, BAPI's, LSMW, ALE, RFC calls, IDOC, BDC, business objects, classes and methods, Adobe Forms, SmartForms, SAPScripts, Data Dictionary, ALV, PDF-Based Print Forms with SAP S/4HANA.Strong ABAP debugging skillsS/4 HANA Development ExperienceKnowledge of OData development using CDS and AMDP, Workflow experience, including support and debuggingKnowledge and awareness of SAP Clean Core principles including use of released API's, in app extensibility options and key user extensibility.Knowledge of 4-Tier extensibility model and SAP RAP (Restful ABAP) and CAP (Cloud Application) Programming ModelsExperience in migrating custom code base from ECC or SOH systems onto a S/4 HANA platform, applying both Technical remediation and Clean Core frameworksImplementation knowledge on Native SQL, ADBC, External View, ABAP Core data Services, AMDP Procedures, Text Search, ALV on HANA.Practical experience in creating custom and enhance standard CDS view and AMDP class based on business requirement, various available annotation in CDS views.Good knowledge on other new SAP technologies such as Fiori SAPUI5, SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP Business Application Studio, SAP Build etcOther skillsRelevant SAP technical certification a plusPractical Knowledge of Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANADemonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skillsPossess interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate in a team environment.Thanks & RegardsMohd Rahbar (Technical Recruiter)Raas Infotek Corporation.262 Chapman Road, Suite 105A,Newark, DE -19702E-Mail: mohd.rahbar@raasinfotek.com| Website: www.raasinfotek.comLinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/mohd-rahbar-180a4725a
