Senior SAP BTP & AI Integration Engineer

We’re hiring: Senior SAP Technical Consultant - BTP, Extensions & Agentic AIWe are looking for a hands-on SAP technical consultant to design, build and support extensions across SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite.This is a development-focused role for someone who can take technical solutions from design through production and help build secure, upgrade-safe capabilities for AI and agentic applications.Key responsibilities:Design and build SAP extensions using clean-core principlesDevelop ABAP solutions using RAP, CDS, ABAP Objects and OData servicesBuild and maintain SAP BTP applications and services using CAP, HANA Cloud, Cloud Foundry or KymaDevelop integrations using SAP Integration Suite/CPI, including mappings, scripting, APIs and adaptersBuild Fiori Elements, SAPUI5 applications, launchpad content and user-facing extensionsCreate workflows, business rules, forms, reports and analytical viewsDevelop SuccessFactors extensions, integrations and custom MDF solutionsBuild governed tools and APIs that allow AI agents to work safely with SAP dataImplement retrieval, grounding, vector search, model integrations and AI evaluation processesApply security controls such as authorisation checks, OAuth2, least privilege, data protection and audit loggingEnsure solutions include monitoring, error handling, testing, documentation and support runbooksSupport the S/4HANA 2025 upgrade, custom-code remediation and regression testingWork closely with Finance, HR, integration, security and AI teams to deliver reliable solutionsChallenge specifications that create unnecessary customisation, technical debt or security risksWhat you bring:8+ years of hands-on SAP technical development experienceStrong ABAP on S/4HANA, RAP, CDS, ABAP Objects and ODataPractical SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite/CPI development experienceExperience with Fiori/SAPUI5 and clean-core extension patternsHands-on AI engineering experience, including LLM integration, retrieval and tool/function callingExperience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java or PythonStrong understanding of secure, governed and production-ready AI solutionsGit, code review, automated testing and deployment disciplineExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skillsSuccessFactors extension experience, MCP, SAP AI Core, Joule, HANA Cloud Vector Engine or UAE/GCC delivery experience will be an advantage.
