Senior SAP ERP ABAP Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement enhancements in SAP ERP logistics (SD and MM) using ABAP Objects, BAdIs, user exits, customer exits, and the Enhancement Framework.Build and maintain classic ABAP objects: mass-data programs, ALV reports, background jobs, forms and output processing, conversions.Develop, extend, and troubleshoot interfaces – IDoc types and extensions, ABAP proxies, RFC/BAPI, and web services – towards SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and SAP PI/PO.Implement and support, monitoring and error handling for interface, IDoc, and workflow failures technicallyAnalyze defects, debug end-to-end cross-system processes (order to delivery to billing, purchase to goods receipt to invoice verification), perform root-cause analysis, and optimize runtime and database performance.Take over day-to-day development, correction, and analysis requests independently, and support test cycles, cutover, go-live, hypercare, code reviews, documentation, and knowledge transfer.Required skills:5+ years of hands-on ABAP development in SAP ERP / ECC on-premiseABAP Objects and modern, clean ABAP practicesSAP SD: sales orders, deliveries, billing, pricing, output controlSAP MM: purchasing, inventory managementBAdIs, user and customer exits, Enhancement FrameworkClassic ABAP: ALV reports, batch jobs, mass-data programsIDoc development: message types, extensions, inbound/outbound processingABAP proxies, RFC, BAPI, and web service interface developmentIntegration with SAP Integration Suite (CPI) or SAP PI/PODebugging and root-cause analysis in cross-system processesPerformance analysis and optimizationTransport and release management; Jira and SolManEnglish: fluent
