Senior SAP FICO ConsultantEssential SkillsStrong hands-on experience with SAP FICO, ideally within S/4HANA environments.Excellent knowledge of core SAP FI and CO processes, including financial accounting, controlling, reporting and period-end activities.Proven experience with SAP FICO customising, including the ability to analyse requirements and independently design and implement solutions.Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and their integration with other SAP modules such as MM and SD.Experience working on SAP projects, from requirements gathering and solution design through to implementation and go-live.Ability to create functional specifications and work closely with ABAP/development teams where required.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to act as a senior escalation point for complex FICO issues.Fluent German and good English, both written and spoken.Desirable SkillsExperience with SAP S/4HANA transformation or migration projects.Knowledge of SAP CO, particularly cost centre accounting, profit centre accounting, internal orders and product costing.Experience with SAP Group Reporting, Asset Accounting or Financial Closing.Knowledge of SAP Fiori and modern SAP integration technologies.Experience integrating SAP Finance with MM, SD, PP or other business processes.Experience coordinating external SAP consultants or service providers.Previous experience working in an in-house SAP team.About the RoleAs an SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant, you will play a key role in the continued development, optimisation and transformation of the company's SAP landscape.Working closely with Finance and other business stakeholders, you will analyse complex requirements, develop future-proof SAP solutions and take ownership of their implementation within the FICO environment.You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, from requirements analysis and process design through to customising, testing, deployment and go-live. A key part of the role will be identifying opportunities to improve and harmonise finance processes while ensuring strong integration with the wider SAP landscape.You will also work closely with technical teams, external partners and other SAP functional areas, providing expert FICO knowledge and supporting the resolution of complex or business-critical issues.The role offers significant autonomy, exposure to a broad range of SAP projects and the opportunity to have a direct impact on the ongoing S/4HANA transformation and development of the finance function.
