Senior SAP WM Consultant

Location: Madrid, SpainWorking model: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week onsiteTravel: Occasional travel within the EMEA region may be requiredAbout the roleWe are looking for a Senior SAP WM Consultant to support the SHEEP project, focused on the implementation of the EBM model within the Poland Mineral Wool Insulation business.The consultant will work primarily within the SAP Supply Chain and Logistics area, with a particular focus on SAP WM, master data migration, testing cycles and training activities.The role combines SAP functional consulting, business process support, stakeholder management and ongoing optimization of existing IT solutions in an international environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide functional consulting and support for business processes through effective SAP solutions.Define, configure and customize SAP WM solutions according to business requirements, agreed timelines, budget and quality standards.Support master data management and migration activities, including the use of LSMW.Participate in and support project testing cycles.Prepare and deliver training sessions related to SAP WM and existing IT solutions.Analyze and provide solutions for incidents, projects, changes and other business requirements.Maintain project and EBM documentation up to date and aligned with established standards.Manage requirements and stakeholders throughout project, maintenance and operational activities.Identify and escalate risks or issues that could affect delivery.Support critical business and IT periods, including Month-End Closing, Go-Live activities, complex RFCs and critical tickets.Collaborate with other functional and technical streams, including O2C, P2P, Logistics, ABAP and Interfaces, to resolve integration topics.Support knowledge transfer, coaching and training of other team members, particularly less experienced colleagues.Maintain, support and optimize current IT solutions.Ensure relevant compliance activities and controls are implemented.Support and participate in established HSEE decision-making bodies.Deliver SAP WM solutions aligned with the established EBM model and standardization principles.RequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience in similar SAP projects or services.Strong experience with SAP WM, including at least 3 years working on international projects.Strong experience in SAP solution definition.Experience with procurement and supply chain processes and solutions.Advanced knowledge of master data management and migration, including LSMW.Experience working in service-driven, customer-oriented IT environments.Knowledge of ITIL-based processes, including Incident, Change and Release Management.Experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to understand the broader business context and propose solutions beyond purely technical considerations.Proactive and autonomous approach to assigned responsibilities.Availability to provide on-call support during Month-End Closing when required.Flexibility regarding working hours during critical project or operational periods.Willingness to travel within the EMEA region when required.Technical skillsSAP WM: AdvancedSAP MM: Working to advanced knowledgeSAP SD: Working knowledgeMaster Data Management / Migration – LSMW: AdvancedStakeholder Management and Communication: StrongIT Service Management processes: StrongNice to haveKnowledge of additional SAP ECC 6.0 modules.User-level knowledge of ServiceNow.User-level knowledge of Jira.Additional language skills in German, Spanish or French.QualificationsUniversity degree in one of the following areas:Business AdministrationInformation TechnologyEngineeringLanguage requirementsEnglish: High level of written and spoken proficiency is required.Project documentation and end-user information will be produced in English.Meetings may be conducted in English or Spanish depending on participants.German, Spanish or French would be considered an asset.Working conditionsThe services will be delivered mainly from Spain, with a minimum of 2 days per week onsite at the client’s offices in Madrid.The standard working schedule is Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:30 CET, following the Spanish holiday calendar.

Some flexibility may be agreed with the corresponding service owner.Availability may be required during critical periods such as Month-End Closing and Go-Live, and occasional business travel within the EMEA region may be requested.
