Our expertise spans from iPSC generation, large-scale differentiation, and cell manufacturing (Manufacturing team) to disease modelling, assay development, and screening (Discovery services).We are now looking for a Senior Scientist to join our Discovery services team. This is your opportunity to lead impactful scientific projects, connect research with real-world outcomes, and mentor the next generation of scientists — all within a dynamic, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment.Your RoleAs a Senior Scientist, you are a critical player in advancing our scientific programs and delivering excellence to clients and partners. You bring not only scientific depth but also a strategic mindset and a passion for turning ideas into tangible outcomes.You will:Serve as a subject matter expert in your field, preferably stem cell biology incl. process development of complex cell differentiations, upscaling and bioreactor knowledge, mentoring team members and providing technical guidance.Support the BD team driving new business by interacting with potential Clients, writing high end proposals and be able to have in depth discussions converting scientific challenges into tangible project proposals.Lead the design and execution of complex, cutting-edge experiments with scientific rigor.Oversee project timelines and deliverables in coordination with the PMO, while managing cross-functional collaboration.Develop and implement new methodologies and technologies to enhance project outcomes.Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets—connecting the dots to generate insights that matter.Act as a scientific ambassador for our clients—translating data into decisions, and ideas into impact.Contribute to commercial success by aligning scientific excellence with business goals and market needs.What You Bring inA Ph.D. in Stem cell biology, Molecular biology, Neuroscience, or a related field, with 3–7 years of relevant industry experience Experience as a project leader within a CRO or Biotechnology company is requiredScientific expertise in stem cell biology incl. process development of complex cell differentiations, upscaling and bioreactor knowledge is strongly preferredStrong expertise in experimental design, data interpretation, and scientific communicationProven ability to lead projects and guide others in a fast-paced, regulated environmentCommercial awareness and a passion for bridging science with business strategyExcellent communication skills—both with clients and within multidisciplinary teamsReady to Join Us?If you're ready to push boundaries and make your mark in the biotech industry, we’d love to hear from you.📩 Send your CV and a short motivation letter to careers@ncardia.com🌐 Learn more about us at www.ncardia.com
