Senior Scrum Master / IT Project Manager

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master / IT Project Manager with a strong background in software development, Agile delivery, and end-to-end software project management.The candidate will be responsible for managing Change Requests (CRs), coordinating cross-functional technical teams, monitoring development progress, overseeing testing activities, and ensuring timely, high-quality software delivery.Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery Management: Manage the full software delivery lifecycle, from requirements analysis and planning through development, testing, UAT, deployment, and production release.
• Change Request Management: Manage multiple CRs simultaneously, including prioritization, scheduling, dependencies, delivery tracking, and closure.
• Agile & Scrum Management: Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Development Monitoring: Closely monitor software development progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure delivery against agreed timelines.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Coordinate SIT, UAT, defect resolution, regression testing, and release readiness with QA and development teams.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with product managers, business analysts, developers, QA, operations, and business owners to ensure delivery alignment.
• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify delivery risks, technical dependencies, and blockers, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Reporting & Governance: Maintain delivery dashboards, sprint performance reports, CR status tracking, and management-level progress updates. Data analytics and excel extensive usage.
• Release Management: Coordinate deployment planning, production readiness, go-live activities, and post-release stabilization.Required Qualifications & Experience
• 6–10 years of experience in IT project management, Scrum Master roles, or software delivery management.
• Proven experience managing software development projects and technical delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including development, testing, integration, deployment, and production support.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience managing large volumes of Change Requests across multiple products and development teams.
• Strong knowledge of SIT, UAT, defect management, release management, and delivery quality controls.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and complex technical dependencies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and executive reporting skills.Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Technical Lead, or Technical Project Manager is highly preferred.
• Experience working on large-scale government digital platforms or enterprise software solutions.
• Scrum Master certification (PSM/CSM) or PMP certification.Ideal Candidate ProfileA hands-on, technically experienced delivery leader, rather than a purely administrative Scrum Master, capable of challenging development estimates, tracking technical progress, resolving delivery bottlenecks, and driving multiple CRs from initiation to successful production deployment.
