Looking for a Senior Security Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on security engineering experience who can independently own projects from start to finish.What You'll DoDesign, build, test, and document security solutions, scripts, and processes.Own security projects independently and drive them from start to finish.Build and improve security detection capabilities using Microsoft Sentinel and KQL.Create queries, detection rules, dashboards, and investigations.Perform root cause analysis and identify ways to prevent recurring security issues.Manage vulnerabilities and security findings from the initial discovery through validated remediation and closure.Design and maintain PKI solutions and related security infrastructure.Help teams implement security best practices early in the development lifecycle.Identify technical risks and recommend practical ways to reduce them.Help eliminate technical debt and duplicate solutions across teams.Think ahead about scalability, reliability, latency, and security.Partner with other security and engineering teams to improve how security is built and delivered.Mentor more junior engineers and help improve technical practices.Research emerging security technologies and build prototypes when appropriate.Look for opportunities to automate processes and make security operations more efficient.Top 3 must-haves:Microsoft Sentinel + KQL: Build detections, queries, dashboards, and independently investigate security events. scepPKI Engineering: Hands-on experience designing and operating PKI, including SCEP, EST, CP/CPS, certificate-based authentication, and software signing.Remediation: Own security findings and vulnerabilities from discovery through remediation and validated closure.Nice to have: Python/PowerShell, HSM/key management, code signing, AI security tools, Absolute, and aviation/OT/embedded systems experience.Ideal candidate: A hands-on security engineer who can independently identify a security problem, investigate it, build the solution, implement it, and validate that it works.
