Senior Security Engineer – SAIS Projects

Job Vacancy: Senior Security Engineer – SAIS ProjectsLocation: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with travel/relocation to project sites as needed.Min. Experience: 5–7 years AlRaid Security & Technology Consulting is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to support the delivery of SAIS Stage 2, 3 and 4 projects across Saudi Arabia.The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising security design development, security-related infrastructure works, site execution, testing and commissioning, and operational readiness activities. Key Responsibilities• Review and supervise detailed security designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical submittals.• Ensure compliance with SAIS requirements, approved security strategies, project specifications, and applicable standards.• Coordinate security requirements with architectural, civil, structural, electrical, ICT, telecommunications, and other project disciplines.• Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, technical proposals, and system interface documents.• Supervise the installation and execution of physical and electronic security systems at project sites.• Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality, compliance, and resolution of technical issues.• Witness inspections, factory and site acceptance testing, integrated systems testing, and security system commissioning.• Review testing and commissioning plans, results, punch lists, as-built documentation, operation manuals, warranties, and spare-parts submissions.• Support operational readiness activities, including SOP development, training, handover, emergency procedures, and readiness verification.• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, system integrators, authorities, and other project stakeholders.• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, compliance assessments, and recommendations. Candidate Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.• 5–7 years of relevant experience in security engineering and project delivery.• Demonstrated experience working on SAIS-regulated projects, particularly Stage 2, 3 and Stage 4.• Strong knowledge of physical security systems, including open-area surveillance, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, perimeter security, HVM, command-and-control systems, security networks, and associated infrastructure.• Practical experience in design review, construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and project handover.• Good understanding of multidisciplinary coordination and security system interfaces.• Strong technical reporting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project priorities.• Professional proficiency in English; Arabic capability is an advantage. Preferred ExperienceCandidates with a combination of experience working for both security contractors or system integrators and engineering or security consultants will be preferred.
