Senior Security Engineer - SOC/ Blue team (Vietnamese Talent)

Role Description: The Senior Cybersecurity – SOC/Blue Team role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role is responsible for monitoring security events, analyzing alerts, and investigating potential threats across applications, networks, and infrastructure. The individual will perform incident triage, containment, and remediation, while continuously improving detection rules, playbooks, and security tooling. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting threat hunting, documenting findings, and contributing to security policies and best practices. The role also involves mentoring junior team members and supporting security audits, compliance initiatives, and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor security alerts, investigate threats, and respond to incidents. Manage security tools, including EDR, SIEM, WAF, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and DLP. Conduct vulnerability assessments, coordinate patching, and implement CIS hardening standards. Perform threat hunting, apply threat intelligence, and improve detection rules. Automate security workflows and support security reviews and compliance requirements.

Key Requirements

4+ years of information security experience, with hands-on expertise in at least two areas: SOC, cyber defense, incident response, threat hunting, threat intelligence, or vulnerability management. Experience supporting production environments at scale. Strong knowledge of network, Windows/Linux, container, and cloud security. Familiarity with CIS standards, MITRE ATT&CK, and basic malware analysis. Professional working English for collaboration with regional teams. Strong ownership, clear communication, and the ability to stay calm during incidents.
