The Senior Service Technician will perform advanced maintenance and repair on commercial refrigeration systems, including diagnostics, component replacement, and system optimization. The role involves responding to service calls, conducting field inspections, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime for customers. The technician will document work performed, maintain service records, and support installation and commissioning activities when required. This position also includes mentoring junior technicians, adhering to safety and compliance standards, and providing professional customer service during on-site visits.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Maintenance & Repair skills, with experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration systems.Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting abilities, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.Candidates should possess hands-on Field Service experience, including on-site inspections, service calls, and system commissioning.Candidates should possess effective Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and maintain professional relationships.Candidates should possess core Maintenance competencies, including routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and equipment checks.Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or a related technical field is preferred.Experience with refrigeration tools, safety procedures, and relevant standards or regulations is beneficial.Ability to read technical drawings and manuals, use diagnostic equipment, and maintain accurate service documentation.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
