The ideal candidate combines Shopify development, pixel-perfect UI/UX implementation, technical SEO, performance optimization, international store management, and Agentic SEO knowledge.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, customize, maintain, and optimize Shopify 2.0 themes and storefrontsConvert Figma designs and mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive Shopify pages across desktop, tablet, and mobileBuild modern, conversion-focused UI/UX while maintaining performance and scalabilityWork with Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6, AJAX, JSON, Metafields, Storefront API, and Shopify APIsCustomize themes, sections, templates, product pages, collections, carts, and other storefront componentsIntegrate and troubleshoot Shopify Apps, third-party APIs, payment systems, marketing tools, and analytics platformsPerform technical SEO audits and resolve crawlability, indexing, canonical, redirect, and other site issuesImplement and validate structured data / Schema markup for products, breadcrumbs, organizations, and other relevant entitiesImprove page speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall storefront performanceManage and optimize multiple-country / international Shopify stores, including localization and Shopify MarketsDebug, test, and maintain stores across browsers and devicesCollaborate with design, SEO, marketing, and ecommerce teams to improve conversion, user experience, and organic visibilityAgentic SEO & AI SearchCandidates should understand Agentic SEO / Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and how Shopify stores can be structured for better visibility across platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and other LLM-powered discovery channels.
