About the RoleSenior SmartStream TLM Techno-Functional ConsultantDomain: Banking / Capital Markets / Global MarketsPlatform: SmartStream TLM ReconciliationsRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Senior SmartStream TLM Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in reconciliation and exception management within banking and financial markets. The candidate will work closely with business, operations and technology teams to understand reconciliation requirements, design solutions in SmartStream TLM, configure and enhance the platform, and support end-to-end implementation.ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesLead requirements gathering and solution design for SmartStream TLM reconciliation initiatives.Understand existing reconciliation processes, identify gaps and translate business requirements into TLM solutions.Configure and enhance matching rules, reconciliation logic, exception handling and investigation workflows.Work across cash, securities, trades, positions, transactions and other financial reconciliations.Perform functional and technical analysis of reconciliation breaks and data issues.Define data mapping, interfaces and integration requirements between TLM and upstream/downstream systems.Work closely with developers on TLM customization and technical enhancements.Prepare functional specifications, solution designs, test scenarios and implementation documentation.Support SIT, UAT, defect analysis, reconciliation validation and production rollout.Troubleshoot complex reconciliation and exception-management issues.Coordinate with business users, Operations, Technology, vendors and onsite/offshore delivery teams.Provide SME-level guidance on SmartStream TLM and reconciliation best practices.QualificationsRequired Experience9+ years of experience in banking technology / financial services.Strong hands-on experience with SmartStream TLM / TLM Reconciliations.Strong understanding of the complete reconciliation lifecycle.Experience with matching, exceptions, breaks, investigation and reconciliation workflows.Good understanding of data feeds, interfaces, mapping and integration.Working knowledge of SQL/databases for data analysis and troubleshooting.Experience with requirements gathering, functional specifications, solution design, SIT and UAT.Ability to work directly with both business/operations stakeholders and technical development teams.Experience delivering large-scale banking or financial-market technology projects.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience with SmartStream TLM / TLM Reconciliations.Strong understanding of the complete reconciliation lifecycle.Experience with matching, exceptions, breaks, investigation and reconciliation workflows.Good understanding of data feeds, interfaces, mapping and integration.Working knowledge of SQL/databases for data analysis and troubleshooting.Experience with requirements gathering, functional specifications, solution design, SIT and UAT.Ability to work directly with both business/operations stakeholders and technical development teams.Experience delivering large-scale banking or financial-market technology projects.Ideal ProfileWe are looking for someone who combines strong SmartStream TLM functional expertise with hands-on technical understanding — someone capable of discussing reconciliation requirements with business users and then working with technical teams to translate those requirements into a working TLM solution.PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd
