Their Security Operations Centre plays a vital role in protecting critical infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. You will analyse alerts, investigate complex threats, improve detection capabilities and contribute to the ongoing maturity of the SOC.You will also:Monitor and investigate security events across enterprise environmentsPerform incident response activities and support remediation effortsAnalyse network traffic, endpoint activity and system logsImprove detection rules using MITRE ATT and CK techniquesProduce technical and customer facing reportsSupport threat intelligence activities and mentor junior analysts where requiredSenior SOC Analyst Essential SkillsPrevious experience within a Security Operations CentreStrong experience with Microsoft Sentinel and SplunkGood understanding of the MITRE ATT and CK frameworkKnowledge of networking, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN and common internet protocolsExperience investigating security incidents and responding to cyber threatsExcellent analytical and communication skillsSecurity certifications such as Security Plus, BTL1 or equivalent are desirablePython, PowerShell or other scripting experience would be advantageousTo Be ConsideredPlease either apply through this advert or emailing me directly via robin.muirhead@searchability.com.
