Team members join a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on purposeful, results-oriented solutions for clients.Role Description The Senior SOC Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun. This role involves monitoring security events and alerts, triaging incidents, and performing in-depth analysis to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities across BAMKO’s systems and networks. The Senior SOC Analyst leads incident response activities, coordinates with cross-functional teams, and documents findings and remediation steps in a clear, structured manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include cyber threat hunting, integrating threat intelligence into SOC workflows, tuning detection rules, and improving processes and playbooks for the Security Operations Center. The role also includes mentoring junior analysts, contributing to security awareness, and collaborating with global stakeholders to enhance overall cybersecurity posture.Qualifications Strong background in Security Operations Center environments, with hands-on experience in monitoring, triage, and incident response within a SOC framework.Proficiency in Cyber Threat Hunting (CTH) techniques, including proactive discovery of threats, anomaly detection, and use of advanced security tools and logs.Experience with Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), including collection, analysis, and application of threat data to improve detection and response capabilities.Solid Analytical Skills for investigating complex security events, correlating data from multiple sources, and producing clear, actionable reports.Comprehensive understanding of Cybersecurity principles, including network security, endpoint protection, SIEM tools, intrusion detection/prevention, and security best practices.Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, GCIH, or similar are preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work on-site in Dehradun, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
