Senior Software Developer

Thus, the candidate may have to work on multiple projects once, also working to improve the company's best practices from a testing a standpoint.We are seeking a Senior Sofware Developer specialiced in Java based in Milton Keynes.Minimum requirements· 5 Years of software development experience in Java (ideally with microservices with Spring Boot).· Messaging Systems, Ideally Kafka and one other (Rabbit MQ, IBM MQ)· API Integration with REST and GraphQL.· Knowledge of Relational and Non-Relational databases.· Experience in systems development using agile methodologies.· EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree completed in Systems or Computing Engineering, Maths, Physics, Economics, Business Administration, or similar.WHAT’S GOOD TO KNOW· UK and International Payment Standards (ISO2022, SWIFT, MX)· Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes.· Knowledge in Cloud (AWS)· Performance testing with tools like Gatling or JMeter.· Collaborative tools (Jira and Confluence)· DevOps (continuous integration with Gradle, Github Actions, Sonar)WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING· Activities and challenges: development and maintenance of systems, using low-platform programming language, as well as working as a Engineer directing the team in the best software construction practices on the market.· Apply good logical reasoning skills, demonstrate ease of learning, and exhibit proactivity.· Oversee monitoring, technical supervision, implementations, and provide third line application support.· Engage in systems engineering, including the creation of microservices, automated tests, middleware applications, and orchestrators.· Focus on the performance, observability, and resilience of applications.✅ Access to continued training.✅ Professional projection✅ Flexible remuneration in health insurance, restaurant tickets, daycare, transportation
