We're FCA-authorised, growing fast, and building a small, ambitious engineering team.The RoleWe're hiring a snior developer to join our clients engineering team as a generalist. This isn't a role for someone who wants to specialise in one narrow slice of the stack you'll be working across front end, back end, data pipelines, and integrations, depending on what the product needs that week.We're particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience in fintech, wealth management, trading platforms, payments, or adjacent regulated industries.What You'll Be DoingBuilding and maintaining features across our web application, mobile app backend, APIs, and core servicesWorking with data pipelines that process market data, backtesting logic, and portfolio analyticsCollaborating closely with product and design to ship features end-to-endIntegrating with third-party financial data, payments, and custody/brokerage platformsContributing to technical decisions on architecture, tooling, and process as we scaleWriting clean, tested, maintainable code and reviewing others' workHelping identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and technical debtWhat We're Looking For5+ years of professional software development experienceA genuine generalist, comfortable moving between front end, back end, and infrastructure as neededExperience in fintech, wealth management, trading, payments, or a similarly regulated/operational industryStrong fundamentals: you can reason about data structures, APIs, databases, and system design without needing a specific framework to lean onPractical experience with modern web technologies (e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript, a common backend language, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud infrastructure)Comfortable working in a small team with high autonomy and shifting prioritiesA pragmatic, product-minded approach — you care about shipping things that work and solve real problems, not just elegant code for its own sakeGood communication skills; able to explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholdersNice to HaveExperience with financial data processing, portfolio analytics, or backtesting systemsExposure to regulated environments (FCA or similar), KYC/AML flows, or open banking integrationsExperience working with market data providers, custodians, or payment platformsStartup or scale-up experienceCompensation & BenefitsSalary: £60,000+Equity: Share options, giving you a stake in the company's successFlexible working arrangementsThe opportunity to shape a growing product and engineering culture from an early stageHow to ApplyPlease upload your CV along with a short note on your experience in fintech, wealth management, or a related industry, and what draws you to a generalist role.
