Senior Software Development Manager

Job OverviewLead a high-performing engineering team developing next-generation Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and EFEM software for semiconductor wafer testing. This role drives software architecture, execution timelines, and cross-functional integration with hardware, firmware, and systems engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Manage, mentor, and grow a team of 6–8 software engineers.Technical Roadmap: Define the software architecture for wafer prober control, instrument calibration, and data analytics.Project Delivery: Own end-to-end software development life cycles using Agile methodologies.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with hardware design, product marketing, and global manufacturing teams.Quality Assurance: Enforce robust code review, automated testing, and CI/CD pipeline standards.Defect Tracking & Root Cause Analysis: Identify, document, and track software anomalies; work closely with software developers and process engineers to isolate hardware vs. software failures.CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test execution directly into the software team's continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.Required Skills and QualificationsEducation: Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field.Experience: Demonstrated track record in semiconductor equipment software development, including prior experience leading or managing an engineering team.Programming & Scripting: Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or C# for automation scripting.
