You’ll work closely with product, design and frontend teams to translate ideas into high-quality user experiences that directly impact business outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning features end-to-end, writing clean code and shipping fast in a high-growth environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services and APIsTranslate product requirements into efficient system design and robust backend logicOptimize systems for speed, reliability, scalability, and securityCollaborate closely with frontend engineers to enable seamless API integrationsDrive code quality, reusability, and adherence to engineering best practicesTroubleshoot issues, improve system performance and ensure high availabilityParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions and sprint planningRequirements:Strong engineering background with education from Tier I technology schools3–6 years of experience in backend developmentProficiency in building scalable services using Node.js and/or Python; language-agnostic mindset preferredExperience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend architecturesUnderstanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), data modeling and query optimizationExperience with system design, performance optimization and scalability best practicesFamiliarity with caching, messaging queues and asynchronous processing is a plusKnowledge of authentication, authorization and security best practicesStrong debugging, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills
