Senior Software Engineer - Brokerage

Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and highly available Java applications using Spring Framework.• Collaborate with business analysts and relevant stakeholders to understand business requirements, assess technical impact, and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.• Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of backend systems based on a microservices architecture.• Design, develop, and govern RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and related system integration interfaces.• Develop and enhance core business capabilities, including online account opening, fund transfers, account management, historical enquiries, and trading-related services.• Design and develop backend capabilities related to users, accounts, permissions, authentication, and authorization, and coordinate complex system integrations with relevant teams.• Design, develop, and integrate backend services supporting virtual asset trading, digital asset platforms, and related business workflows.• Contribute to AI-related projects by designing and integrating backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and platform capabilities required to support AI-enabled applications and automation.• Work closely with frontend, mobile, QA, product, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to drive reliable cross-platform delivery and integration.• Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code, and provide technical guidance through architecture design, technical reviews, and code reviews.• Monitor, analyze, and optimize application and system performance; lead production issue investigations and improve system stability, availability, scalability, and resilience.Requirements• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.• Minimum 8 years of Java development experience with strong hands-on project experience using Spring Framework.• Strong command of Java core technologies, object-oriented design, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.• Strong knowledge of the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.• Strong experience with Git version control, CI/CD practices, automated testing, and modern software delivery processes.• Proven experience designing and developing systems based on a microservices architecture.• Strong experience designing RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and complex system integrations.• Strong experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases, including data modelling, SQL optimization, and performance tuning.• Strong experience with ORM frameworks such as JPA or Hibernate.• Hands-on development experience with Redis, Apache Kafka, or other messaging and event-driven platforms.• Solid understanding of distributed systems, high-concurrency processing, high-availability architecture, scalability, and fault tolerance.• Strong analytical, production troubleshooting, performance optimization, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration skills.• Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum development environments and provide technical guidance to other engineers.• Proficient in English and ChineseNice to Have• Experience in fintech, securities brokerage, wealth management, trading platforms, online account opening, account management, market data platforms, OMS, RMS, clearing, or settlement systems.• Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as JWT, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).• Experience designing, developing, or integrating modern authentication solutions such as FIDO2, WebAuthn, and passkeys.• Experience with multi-factor authentication (MFA), biometric authentication, device binding, and account security mechanisms.• Experience designing, developing, and optimizing GraphQL APIs.• Experience designing and optimizing MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization or cloud-native technologies.• Experience with AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or other major cloud platforms and related services.• Experience developing high-concurrency, low-latency trading, or real-time data systems.
