You'll be the bridge between complex underwriting logic and the brokers and fleet managers who depend on it — playing a direct role in bringing new sectors like haulage and courier fleets onto the platform.What you'll be doingOwning features end to end — design, deployment, and measuring impactBuilding and evolving backend microservices in a TypeScript monorepo (CQRS, Hexagonal Architecture)Designing events and projections that keep services decoupled as the product growsExtending a React-based internal Product Config UI used by underwriters and PMsWorking across Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, S3, and CloudWatchTranslating complex domain problems into sharply scoped, impactful deliverables alongside your PMWhat you'll bringExpert TypeScriptProven experience with event-driven backend systems on AWSHands-on with CQRS, event sourcing, projections, and Hexagonal ArchitectureReact exposure useful; fintech, insurance, or regulated domain experience a bonusWhat makes you right for thisYou think about the customer outcome first and work backwards to the simplest solution.
