Senior Software Engineer

Software Engineer | Java, AWS | Berlin | €70k - €85k | German B2+We're looking for a talented Software Engineer with a strong background in Java and AWS to join a fast growing team in Berlin.In this role, you'll develop and maintain scalable backend applications, contribute to the design of new features, and work closely with product managers, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, writing clean, maintainable code, and collaborating in an agile environment.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications and backend servicesBuild and enhance RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features from concept through to productionWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practicesParticipate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisionsTroubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications to ensure performance and reliabilitySupport continuous improvement of development processes and engineering standardsRequirements:Strong commercial experience developing applications with JavaExperience building RESTful APIs and backend servicesStrong cloud experience with AWSFamiliarity with relational databases and modern software development practicesExperience working in Agile/Scrum teamsGerman language skills at B2 level or above (required)Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetIf you're interested please get in touch ASAP!
