Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you won't just write production-grade code: you'll own core services end-to-end, mentor other engineers, influence the big technical decisions, and help shape how we build.We're genuinely AI-native and we expect our engineers to build with AI every day. This is a hands-on, high-impact seat in a small team where one exceptional engineer changes the trajectory of the whole business.Core Pillars of SuccessBuild the core platform. Design, develop and maintain scalable, secure services and APIs in our serverless cloud environment, predominantly in Go and ReactOwn it end-to-end. Take domain-specific services from architectural design through to deployment, monitoring, and investigating and fixing the root causes of issues - you build it, you run itBuild with AI. Use modern AI-powered dev tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) every day to ship faster, and help set the standard for how we engineer with AIChampion engineering excellence. Raise the bar on development workflows, testing, deployment and observability. Release small, fast and often - and keep the code simple, because the best code is the code you don't have to writeLevel up the team.
