Senior Software Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEWWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is an Arabic-speaking professional with a strong track record in full-stack development, a collaborative mindset, and demonstrable experience engaging directly with clients to deliver complex software solutions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using .NET Core / ASP.NET CoreBuild dynamic, responsive front-end interfaces using Angular or equivalent modern frameworks (React, Vue.js)Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality softwareEngage directly with clients to gather requirements, present solutions, and manage technical expectations throughout the project lifecycleLead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developersArchitect and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)Integrate third-party APIs, microservices, and cloud-based solutions (Azure / GCP)Participate in Agile practices (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives)Troubleshoot production issues and implement timely resolutionsDocument technical specifications, system designs, and APIsTECHNICAL REQUIREMENTSBack-End.NET Core 6 / 7 / 8 and ASP.NET Core – advanced proficiencyRESTful API design and development;Entity Framework CoreAuthentication & authorization: OAuth2, JWT, IdentityServerFront-EndAngular 14+ (preferred) or React / Vue.jsTypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSSState management (NgRx, Redux, or Vuex)Responsive design and cross-browser compatibilityDatabases & CloudSQL Server, PostgreSQL – query optimization and schema designMicrosoft Azure or AWS – deployment, storage, and serverless functionsCI/CD pipelines: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or JenkinsContainerization: Docker and Kubernetes basicsPROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS5+ years of hands-on experience in .NET / .NET Core developmentProven history in client-facing roles: requirements gathering, solution presentations, status updates, and relationship managementExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and EnglishStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detailExperience working in Agile / Scrum environmentsAbility to work independently and take ownership of deliverablesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software EngineeringTransferable Visa (Article 18)Valid Kuwaiti Driving LicenseImmediate joiners are preferredPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMicrosoft certifications (AZ-204, AZ-400, or equivalent)Experience in government or enterprise sectorsFamiliarity with DevSecOps practices and OWASP security standardsKnowledge of software design patterns (CQRS, DDD, Repository, etc.)Prior experience in the GCC / MENA region is highly valuedSOFT SKILLS & COMMUNICATIONClient-first mindset: ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business languageProactive communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skillsCultural awareness and ability to build relationships with Arabic-speaking stakeholdersCollaborative team player with a positive attitude and growth mindsetAdaptability and comfort working under pressure to meet deadlines
