🚨 Hiring: Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure📍 Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)We're partnering with an early-stage, venture-backed company in the aviation technology space that's building the real-time software infrastructure powering the future of airfield operations.We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and architect the platform that everything else runs on. This is not a traditional DevOps or SRE role. We're looking for a true software engineer who specializes in infrastructure—someone who enjoys building distributed systems, writing production code, and making foundational architectural decisions.What you'll be doing:Design and build scalable, resilient cloud infrastructureDevelop distributed systems powering real-time, high-throughput applicationsBuild internal platform tooling and automationOwn CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, observability, and reliabilityPartner closely with product and application engineers on architecture and platform decisionsHelp define the long-term infrastructure strategy as the company scales globallyWhat we're looking for:4+ years building production infrastructure or backend systemsStrong experience with AWS or GCPDeep understanding of distributed systems and cloud architectureInfrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar)Strong coding skills are required—ideally Go, but Java or another backend language is absolutely relevant. This is a hands-on software engineering role, not an operations-only position.Experience building CI/CD pipelines and highly available production systemsSomeone who enjoys wearing both infrastructure and software engineering hatsBonus if you have experience with:Kafka, MQTT, WebSockets, or other event-driven systemsIoT, robotics, logistics, mobility, or other real-world systemsEarly-stage startupsEdge computing or fleet/device communication
