Job OverviewVinSmart Future is Vingroup's dedicated technology company, building the unified platform that powers a SuperApp ecosystem spanning payments, healthcare, mobility, commerce, and entertainment.Our Fintech division operates non-credit financial products — e-wallet, payment, merchant acquiring, settlement, and reconciliation — where transaction correctness, reliability, and operational efficiency are critical to the business.As a Senior Software Engineer (Golang), you will own mission-critical services, drive architectural decisions, and work cross-functionally to deliver high-quality financial infrastructure at scale. We are looking for engineers who owned systems end-to-end — not just participated in them.Key Responsibilities:Own end-to-end design and implementation of backend services for payment, wallet, transaction, merchant, and/or settlement systems.Build high-availability Go microservices with focus on correctness, idempotency, consistency, and safe retry handling.Design data models, API contracts, event flows, and service boundaries for reliable financial operations.Lead migration and decomposition of existing systems; improve throughput, latency, and reliability of production services.Take production accountability: on-call rotation, incident response, postmortems, and root-cause resolution.Build and maintain observability: monitoring dashboards, alerting, distributed tracing, and SLA/SLO tracking for critical payment flows.Collaborate with product, operations, risk, compliance, and finance teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.Mentor junior and mid-level engineers; lead code reviews and establish Go coding standards across the team.Identify and implement performance improvements at database, application, and infrastructure levels.Qualifications:Required:6-8+ years backend engineering; 3-5+ years production Golang (goroutines, channels, context, concurrency patterns) — mission-critical services, not side projects.Ownership of business-critical payment, wallet, transaction, settlement, or reconciliation systems with measurable impact.Strong database skills: PostgreSQL or MySQL with transaction isolation, locking strategies, schema design, idempotency, and data migrations.Experience with Redis (caching, distributed locking) and event-driven systems (Kafka or RabbitMQ) for async flows, retries, and eventual consistency.Deep understanding of financial correctness: duplicate transaction prevention, reconciliation, and settlement accuracy.Experience with gRPC and RESTful API design, including versioning and backward compatibility.Strong observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.CI/CD ownership; Docker and Kubernetes experience.Clear track record of cross-functional collaboration and technical leadership.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with outbox pattern, saga, optimistic/pessimistic locking, and distributed transaction strategies.Experience with fraud detection, risk scoring, KYC/AML, or compliance-adjacent backend systems.Exposure to banking integrations, open banking APIs, or payment provider callbacks and failure-state handling.Load testing and performance profiling of high-throughput Go services.📩 Apply via:Email: v.tunglt51@vinsmartfuture.tech
