Senior Software Engineer

We have a team of passionate engineers and traders who have built some of the fastest systems for trading. We have some of the most accomplished quantitative traders in India. We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer based in Gurugram, India to join our growing tech team. Further details of the role are outlined below.What You Will Do: Build APIs and services that integrate internal systems, cloud infrastructure, and third-party platforms.Design and build backend systems that automate operational workflows and reduce manual effort for engineering and operations teams.Develop event-driven workflows for alerts, health signals, notifications, and operational tasks.Build AI-powered capabilities to improve support response, incident investigation, and operational decision-making.Build and evolve global observability, alerting, and incident-management infrastructure.Develop self-service tooling and integrations for engineering and operations teams.Design systems that operate reliably across failures, scale, and changing operational requirements.Participate in architecture, technical design, code reviews, and production ownership.What You Need to Succeed5-8 years experience, with significant backend development experience.Strong proficiency in Python, Go, Node.js/TypeScript, or Rust.Strong understanding of system design and distributed systems.Experience designing and building production-grade REST APIs and backend services.Good understanding of event-driven architectures, message queues, asynchronous processing, and background workers.Strong database fundamentals, particularly PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.Strong Linux and Unix fundamentals and experience with Docker.
