This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining back-end services and applications that support core travel and staffing operations. The engineer will write clean, scalable code, perform code reviews, troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and optimize system performance and reliability. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with product and business stakeholders to refine requirements, implementing software solutions aligned with industry best practices, and contributing to the architecture of new systems and integrations with third-party platforms. The Senior Software Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, champion coding standards, and participate in continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.Demonstrated experience in Software Development and Programming, with a focus on building and maintaining production-grade systems.Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.Practical expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and related design patterns.Experience with modern development practices such as version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and scalable, distributed architectures.Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Track record of mentoring or leading engineering teams and contributing to technical decision-making.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in the travel or staffing industry, or with enterprise integration projects, is a plus.
