Senior Software Engineer

Role: Senior Software EngineerLocation: London (Hybrid)Salary: Up To £120,000 P/AA leading financial services organisation is looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join a high-impact technology team working on complex, business-critical platforms. You’ll be responsible for building scalable solutions in a highly regulated environment, working closely with technical and business stakeholders while contributing to modern engineering practices and data-driven initiatives.What You’ll DoDesign, build, test and deploy robust Java-based applications across critical technology platforms.Work with event-driven architectures and large-scale data, using technologies such as Kafka and streaming frameworks.Take ownership of key technical projects, influence design decisions and act as a technical point of escalation.Help ensure strong data quality, governance, controls and auditability across business-critical systems.What We’re Looking ForStrong commercial experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot and SQL.Experience with Kafka and ideally Flink, MongoDB or other NoSQL technologies.Background working in financial services, ideally within regulatory reporting, risk, compliance or another highly controlled environment.Strong communication skills with the ability to work across engineering, product and business teams.If this sounds like you, apply today!
