Senior Software Engineer£95,000 | Permanent | Hybrid We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team building and evolving a major consumer-facing web platform.This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer with strong React, Next.js and TypeScript skills. You’ll work closely with Product, Design and Engineering, helping create scalable, high-quality digital experiences across multiple markets while influencing engineering standards and best practice.What you’ll be doingBuilding modern web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScriptCreating reusable components and contributing to Storybook/design systemsWorking with APIs, integrations and shared platform servicesImproving performance, accessibility and SEOContributing to automated testing, CI/CD and reliable releasesHelping shape engineering standards as the team growsWhat we’re looking forStrong commercial experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript is essential. You’ll also ideally bring experience across:Storybook and component-driven developmentNode.js, APIs and integrationsAutomated testing – Cypress, Playwright, Jest or similarCI/CD and modern deployment practicesHeadless CMS platformsLarge-scale, customer-facing web applicationsThis is a Senior Individual Contributor role, so it will suit someone who wants to remain hands-on while having a real influence on architecture, quality and engineering practices.
