We're working with one of Europe's fastest growing logistics startups, backed by one of the largest Series A rounds the sector has seen and led by a top tier deep tech investor. Their mission is simple but ambitious: to remove the friction that high delivery costs create in online commerce, and make it possible for more goods to move more freely between more people. This is a business scaling faster than almost any other venture backed company in Europe right now, and they're building a genuinely talent dense team to match. Around 90 people so far, over half of them in engineering, product and data, with 45+ advanced degrees across computer science, maths and operations research sitting inside the team. What you'll be doingYou'll own real, end to end problems rather than tickets, spanning routing algorithms, real time optimisation services and the operational tools that keep the whole platform moving. You'll be working alongside senior engineering leaders with backgrounds spanning large scale distributed systems, ML inference and enterprise infrastructure at some of the biggest names in tech and ecommerce. Expect to ship production quality code weekly, sometimes daily, and to see the direct impact of your work on a business already powering some of the fastest growing ecommerce platforms in the world.Tech environmentPython, Rust and TypeScript, used deliberately rather than for the sake of it. Cross platform apps built in Flutter with a genuine focus on user experience. Cloud native infrastructure on GCP, with heavy use of BigQuery and Cloud Run. Extensive ML modelling and LLM inference as part of daily engineering work, not a side project. Growing integrations into robotics and IoT powered operations. What they're looking forEngineers who define problems with precision and measure their own impact properly. People who want to work at pace, take genuine ownership and see constraints as something to solve rather than something to complain about. This is a high standards, high candour environment, so you'll need to be comfortable giving and receiving direct feedback.Package and processPrivate health and dental cover. 25 days holiday plus enhanced parental leave. Choice of hardware, gym subsidy, cycle to work and covered transport for late nights. The interview process is quick and structured, four stages, typically wrapped up within a week with a decision inside 48 hours of final interview.Salary: Up to £130k + equityFour days on site, one day remote.
