Senior Software Engineer

ResponsibilitiesWrite, review, and ship production-grade backend code regularly - this is a hands-on roleLead architectural decisions for your product area - APIs, databases, system design, infrastructureOwn sprint planning, technical scoping, and delivery timelines for your teamMentor and grow a team of 4-5 backend engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and 1:1sPartner with Product to translate roadmap priorities into technical executionDrive engineering best practices - observability, testing, CI/CD, documentationIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and technical debt proactivelyIdeal Profile6+ years of backend engineering experience with at least 1-2 years in a tech lead or senior engineering capacityStrong hands-on proficiency in any backend stack - Node.js, Java, Go, Python, or similarDeep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectureStrong SQL and database fundamentals - schema design, query optimization, production-scale data handlingExperience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and CI/CD practicesProven ability to lead technical delivery - not just delegate, but actively unblock and contributeStrong communication skills
