Every engagement is aimed at nurturing empowered communities and contributing to a better world.Role Description The Senior Software Engineer is a full-time hybrid role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining back-end software solutions that support insightix’s social services transformation, empowerment programs, and impact measurement platforms. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, scalable code, implementing APIs and data integrations, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with product, data, and consulting teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will also review code, mentor less experienced engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure best practices in security, reliability, and maintainability. The role requires active participation in planning sessions, documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering production-grade systems.Hands-on expertise in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and database design.Advanced skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and designing modular, maintainable architectures.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience with modern server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Node.js) and relational/non-relational databases.Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD practices for deployment and automation.Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate complex concepts clearly, and mentor peers.Experience building systems related to analytics, impact measurement, or social services domains is an advantage.Fluency in Arabic; knowledge of English and familiarity with the regional context in Saudi Arabia are beneficial.
