Location: Remote (EST/CST)I’m working with a remote-first technology company in the specialty insurance space that is building modern, AI-enabled products to help customers make faster, more informed decisions.They’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys solving real customer problems, working with a high degree of ownership, and using AI to fundamentally improve how software is built and delivered.What You’ll Be DoingBuild and ship customer-facing software, intelligent workflows, and AI-enabled product capabilitiesDesign and implement scalable APIs, services, data flows, and modern web applicationsIntegrate modern AI capabilities into real customer workflows in reliable, secure, production-ready waysBuild intelligent capabilities around automation, recommendations, integrations, and operational insightsUse AI throughout the development lifecycle — from discovery and implementation through testing, debugging, and operationsOwn the quality, reliability, performance, and production readiness of what you buildWork closely with product and engineering teammates to turn ambiguous problems into working softwareContribute to technical decisions and continuously improve engineering practices, reliability, observability, and developer experienceShip quickly, learn from users and production, and iterate continuouslyWhat They’re Looking ForStrong software engineering fundamentals and sound engineering judgmentExperience building and scaling modern web applications, services, or APIsStrong depth in at least one area of the technology stack, with the ability and curiosity to contribute more broadlyA strong ownership mindset — focused on outcomes rather than simply completing ticketsExperience working in fast-moving environments where requirements aren't always fully definedStrong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsComfort balancing speed with quality, security, reliability, and production readinessGenuine interest in using AI to improve customer experiences, workflows, and software productsInterest in using AI not just for coding assistance, but to rethink how software is designed, tested, shipped, and operatedTech StackTypeScript, Node.js, Lit/Web Components, PostgreSQL, Redis, Snowflake, AWS, and modern cloud infrastructure.If you're a strong software engineer who enjoys building, experimenting with AI, and owning problems end-to-end, apply today!Please note: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or Green Card holders.
