Apply & track with Apply EdgeSenior ServiceNow Developer - Software Engineer - Lead Location: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaAbout the CompanyOur Client is one of the Top 4 Accounting and Auditing firms, with a strong international presence and a reputation for delivering high-quality professional and technology-enabled services to leading organisations.As part of their continued growth, they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.The RoleWe are looking for a highly capable and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on development experience across the ServiceNow platform.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, integrating and supporting ServiceNow solutions, while working closely with clients and internal stakeholders. The role also involves providing technical guidance to junior developers and contributing to best-practice development standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, configure and support ServiceNow solutions in line with business and technical requirements.Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, Import Sets and Transform Maps.Implement robust integration solutions with appropriate error handling and troubleshooting.Develop and customise Service Portal, including custom widgets, pages and themes.Develop using JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML and CSS.Work across ITSM and core ServiceNow capabilities, including:Flow DesignerScript IncludesBusiness RulesACLsService PortalFollow ServiceNow best practices and ensure solutions are upgrade-safe and maintainable.Participate in technical design and solution discussions.Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.Allocate tasks and support the development and delivery of technical solutions.Work directly with clients to understand requirements and translate business needs into effective ServiceNow solutions.Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops and deliver demonstrations to clients and stakeholders.Provide regular progress updates and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Work under the direction of the Lead Developer/Architect while taking ownership of assigned technical deliverables.Requirements5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.Experience working within a consulting, systems integration or client-services environment is highly desirable.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.Certified Application Developer (CAD) and/or CIS certifications would be an advantage.Strong hands-on experience with:REST and SOAP APIsIntegrationHubMID ServerImport SetsTransform MapsIntegration error handling and troubleshootingProven experience developing and customising Service Portal, including widgets, pages and themes.Strong knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML and CSS.Strong understanding of ITSM and core ServiceNow functionality.Experience with Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules and ACLs.Good understanding of ServiceNow development standards, best practices and upgrade-safe development.Previous experience mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Comfortable working directly with clients, gathering requirements, conducting workshops and demonstrations.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical leads, architects and wider project teams.What We OfferCompetitive remuneration package, including 13th salaryBonus scheme reflecting both firm and individual performanceProvident FundLife Within the FirmExcellent opportunities for career development and advancementHybrid working model, combining office, client and home workingLocationRiyadh, Saudi ArabiaThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ServiceNow professional looking to develop their career within a leading global professional services environment, working on challenging client projects and with strong opportunities for career progression and international mobility.
