Senior Software Engineer

GISCON is looking for an accomplished Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team in Egypt and play a key role in delivering innovative, scalable, and secure solutions for government technology and digital transformation initiatives across the region. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain web applications for Digital Transformation projects.Implement frontend and backend features according to technical and functional requirements.Develop and integrate REST APIs and database services.Integrate applications with existing systems and external services.Fix bugs, optimize performance, and ensure application quality and security.Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and technical support.Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.5-10 years of experience in software development.Strong knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and Node.js.Experience with REST APIs, SQL databases, and Git.Good understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and debugging.Experience with government, enterprise, GIS, or digital transformation projects is an advantage.Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
