Work Experience: 9+ yearsWork Mode: Hybrid (2 Days WFO)Work Location: MumbaiSenior Full-Stack Developer, React and JavaRole OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong and balanced experience in React frontend and Java backend development.The candidate will design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using React.js, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs. The role also involves contributing to architecture, code quality, testing, and engineering best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop responsive web applications using React.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.Build reusable UI components and manage application state using Redux or Context API.Develop backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.Design and implement microservices and service integrations.Work with relational databases, SQL, and data-access components.Optimize frontend, backend, API, and overall application performance.Write clean, secure, testable, and maintainable code.Perform unit and integration testing using relevant frontend and backend frameworks.Participate in technical design, code reviews, and production troubleshooting.Collaborate with product, design, development, and quality engineering teams in an Agile environment.Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.Required Skills and Experience5+ years of software development experience across frontend and backend technologies.Strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.Experience with React Hooks and Redux or Context API.Experience with relational databases, SQL, and data modelling.Proficiency with Git and modern frontend and backend build tools.Experience with frontend testing using Jest and React Testing Library.Experience with backend testing using JUnit and Mockito.Experience using AI-assisted development tools for code generation, testing, debugging, refactoring, and documentation, with appropriate review for quality, security, and maintainability.Understanding of performance optimization, debugging, security, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with AWS or another cloud platform.Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes.Experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, or Cucumber/BDD.Knowledge of frontend tooling such as Webpack or Vite.Experience contributing to frontend and backend architecture and technical design.The ideal candidate should be able to independently design, develop, test, and troubleshoot features across both the React frontend and Java backend, while effectively using AI-assisted development practices to improve engineering productivity and quality
